    • 03. Are facility-specific written procedures established to adequately describe safe and sanitary practices?
      • Written procedures for client care in case of accidental cut and puncture and preparation of skin were not available.Please ensure the written procedures are developed.
    • 08. Is hand hygiene performed by the personal services worker when required, in a proper manner and are provisions available to perform hand hygiene?
      • The handwashing sink was not equipped with a sanitary option to dry hands.Please ensure the paper towels are stored in a sanitary way to prevent contamination.
    • 12. Are personal services workers at the facility maintaining client records and where applicable, sterility documentation corresponding to that client?
      • The operator was not maintaining sterility assurance documentation for sterile equipment used in the facility.The operator was advised to keep the record of the lot number, expiry date, and manufacturer's name of the pre-purchased sterile equipment with clients’ information.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • - Semi-critical equipment such lash curlers & tweezers were used during makeup services. Tweezers were used for applying clustered false lashes. These are not being adequately disinfected. The operator is advised to acquire at a minimum, a high-level disinfectant for disinfecting semi-critical tools.
