      • A dual purpose written procedure was not observed. Please create a written dual purpose sink method.

      • It was noted that the facility was not cleaning reusable equipment prior to disinfecting them. Please be advised that all reusable devices must be washed using soap and water and rinsed using potable water prior to disinfecting them. June 21,2024;The barbicide solution of the inner service room was visibly dirty. Tools were used for hair dye and other services, uncleaned before immersing in the solution. Staff discarded the solution during inspection. Ensure reusable tools are washed, rinsed and visibly clean before immersing in the barbicide solution.

      • Hair equipment were not fully submerged in the barbicide solution at the time of inspection. Please be advised that all hair equipment must be fully submerged in the barbicide solution to achieve proper disinfection level.       • It was noted that the facility was using hair wash sink for equipment reprocessing area. A written procedure to use dual purpose sink was not observed. Please create a written dual purpose sink procedure and implement it.A designated hand washing sink and hand washing supplies were not observed. Please designate a hand washing sink. June 21,2024;- Handwashing sinks in the staff room and washroom were fully equipped. Handsoap was placed at sink in the inner service room. - Ensure handwashing sinks are fully equipped with soap, running hot and cold water, paper towels at all times.- Ensure a written procedure for disinfecting the sink between hair washing and equipment disinfection is developed and posted near the sink.
