- A fabric hand towel was observed in the infant room near the handwashing sink, and staff stated she was using it to dry her hands including after diapering. Informed that this practice must stop and a single-use method of hand drying must be used. Towel was removed at the request of the PHI.

- Facility had been using Barbicide for combs used on children. Barbicide was not being diluted and prepared according to manufacturer's instructions. Facility was instructed to either prepare fresh Barbicide daily and prepare fewer containers, or to cease usage and instead store a designated comb for each child that needed one in a plastic bag or means of preventing cross-contamination.

- 1. Hot water was not observed in the washroom of toddler room 3. Please ensure that the hot water is available at each washroom. 2. The faucet of toddler washroom 3 was noted to be broken. Please replace the faucet. 3. The hot water pressure of the upstairs second room was not adequate.Please increase the hot water pressure. 4. Water temperature was noted to be above 51 degrees C.Please ensure to maintain water temperature below 49 degrees C.
