    • 17. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Critical)?
      • Painting brushes and palettes awaiting cleaning were placed in classroom hand sinks. Please ensure that craft materials intended for cleaning are not placed in hand sinks. Instead, use the designated basket for these items. All art supplies should be cleaned using the toy washing station.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Tod Preschool classroom: One of the toy baskets was cracked. Staff removed the basket from the classroom.2. Infant room: Some of the rubber mats are in disrepair. Please repair. 3. Infant room: The classroom carpet is visibly dirty. Please clean.
    • 31. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Critical)?
      • All classrooms: Mouthed toy bin is not available to separate dirty toys in the classrooms. Please ensure a dedicated basket is available to separate dirty toys.Toddler and Pretoddler classrooms: The diapering mats are in disrepair. Please replace.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • All classrooms: 1. Cleaning rags were hung on the faucet. Please ensure the following:- cleaning rags are used only once and then disposed of or laundered. This prevents cross-contamination and bacterial spread. - place clearly labeled bins in each classroom for used rags.2.The bleach bottle used to disinfect diapering mats is also being used for classroom surfaces and toys. To prevent cross-contamination, please ensure that two separate bleach solution bottles are available at all times. One bottle should be strictly dedicated to diapering areas only, while the other is used for general classroom cleaning.
