    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1.The cover for the water table is wearing away and is no longer smooth and easily cleanable and has the potential for physical injury due to wood splinters.2.A table near the window in the left-hand side room is noted to have a section chipped off. 1-2.Ensure the indicated areas are repaired or replaced to be smooth, non-absorbent and easily cleanable.
    • 19. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Critical)?
      • Toys are being washed using three bins for washing, rinsing and sanitizing inside the room. Ensure that the sink in the hallway is used to wash and sanitize the toys. Toys must not be washed and sanitized in the bins.

    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1.Some wicker type material baskets which are not smooth and easily cleanable are used to store toys.2. Trays holding various toys and disposable food utensils used for play are noted to have buildup of dust and debris.3.Some countertops and shelves are noted to have buildup of dust.1-2.Ensure that the indicated items and areas are cleaned and sanitized.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • 1.A water table is noted to have buildup of grime and debris in the out of school care room.2.A sand table in the kindergarten room has buildup of grime and debris. 1-2. Ensure that the sand and water tables are cleaned and sanitized. Cleaning must involve eliminating debris and grime using detergent/soap followed by rinsing with clean water and then sanitizing with 100 ppm bleach solution.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • The chlorine bleach sanitizer in two spray bottles is measured to be at 1000 ppm.The bleach sanitizer spray bottles are noted to have a buildup of black grime. Ensure that the bleach is maintained at 200 ppm, a 1000 ppm chlorine bleach solution must be used during outbreaks only. The bleach solution is remade to be at 200 ppm. The bleach sanitizer bottles must be replaced and the issue of the buildup of black grime must be investigated.
