      • *** Written procedures for skin cleansing were not established.Corrective Actions:- Complete page 2 of the AHS written procedure template that was provided during the inspection.
    • 08. Is hand hygiene performed by the personal services worker when required, in a proper manner and are provisions available to perform hand hygiene?
      • *** Hand washing sink in the main floor bathroom was not supplied with a sanitary method for drying hands. A single towel on a towel rack was used.Corrective Actions:- Ensure that the hand washing sink is supplied with either single use, laundered towels, or paper towels.

      • Disinfectants available include:- Lysol spray disinfectant (low level disinfectant)- Zytec wipes (low level disinfectant)- Oxivir 1 wipes (intermediate level disinfectant)- Barbicide (low level disinfectant)*** A high-level disinfectant was not available for disinfecting reusable semi-critical equipment.Corrective Actions:- Acquire a high level disinfectant and appropriate test strips.- Follow the manufacturer's instructions for use, including contact time, reuse days, and use of test strips/- Document daily test strip results in a logsheet.
