    • 21. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Critical)?
      • Maximum hot water temperatures was 54.5C at the junior toddler hand sink and 54.6C at the infant hand sink. Both are building code violations. Ensure that the temperature at these taps is lowered below 49C by June 15, 2026.

    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • In the pre kinder room there was a fan stored a ledge which was a tipping hazard and could have potentially caused an injury if it were to fall on a child. The fan was removed from the room. Violation corrected during the inspection. If there are fans within the rooms they must be placed in manner which not cause an injury to a child
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • There was no first aid kit easily available within the pre kinder room. Some of the children were on a walk and the backpack with the first aid kit was with them. The children and staff returned with the kit. Please ensure that there are sufficient kits available to account these circumstances in the future.
    • 11. Are parent provided foods being properly handled and stored to ensure the safety of clients in this social care facility?
      • The large fridge in the toddlers room was at 12C. By June 4, 2026, ensure that this fridge is kept at 4C or lower.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • The infant room hand sink reached a maximum hot water temperature of 51.7C. The building code maximum is 54C but the recommended maximum temperature for childcare is 49C. Please lower the temperature to 49C by June 9, 2026.The toddler junior and the preschool junior had maximum hot water temperatures of 48.5 & 48.9C. All of the remaining sink which children could access were below 45C.
