      • The garbage bin for soiled diapers in the diapering area does not have a tight‑fitting lid. Please ensure that a garbage bin with a tight‑fitting lid is provided for the disposal of soiled diapers.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • The sink basin in the Shine Room washroom appears to be corroded, resulting in a visible hole. Please ensure the basin is repaired or replaced.

      • The sleeping mats were stacked with bedding materials without separation. The operator stated that liners are normally placed between each mat. This procedure was not followed on the day of inspection due to staffing shortages. Please ensure that bedding is stored with proper separation to reduce the risk of cross contamination.

      • Fluorescent lights (a total of 9) are burnt out as follows:1. Four (4) in the PRE-A Room.2. Three (3) in the PRE-B Room.3. Two (2) in the Primary Room.

      • A ceiling tile in the first washroom is broken (PRE-A Room). The counter for the sink cabinet in the Primary Room is in disrepair.Areas around the handwashing sinks and their taps in the Primary Room are unsanitary; and one sink has two areas where the enamel/paint is chipped.
