Azhadi Winery is truly stunning. The building and location are beautiful, and I loved that the design was inspired by Azadi Tower in Tehran. The food was amazing overall. The appetizers were so good, the saffron gelato was incredible, and the drinks were excellent. My only note is that the main course felt a little overpriced for the portion size. I expected either a bigger portion or a better price. We also had a tour of the gallery, which was amazing. It was so special to see Persian art and culture represented in such a beautiful way. I really want to thank Mike for doing such a great job collecting and showcasing all of that art. Our waiter, Jeff, was amazing—very friendly, warm, and welcoming. The only small issue was that a few staff members came by twice asking if the food was ours, which felt a bit awkward. Maybe some additional staff training could help with that. One suggestion I would love to see is a small welcome drink for guests. Overall, it was an amazing experience and a wonderful job by the team.

Azhadi Vineyards was a 10/10 experience! The location is absolutely stunning, from the views to the architecture of the building and its tasteful decoration, it’s definitely a great place for pictures. We did the Reflection Wine Tasting experience and had a great time. Our server and Neel contributed to how great our time was here and you can tell how passionate they are about wine and providing a memorable experience for their guests. Once we were seated they had a pretty package detailing our wine tasting experience and the different wines we’d be tasting. After we finished our glasses we were led on a tour of the winery by Neel, which was great! He also took group pictures of us after. Such a lovely experience made even better by the absolutely amazing staff! I'd love to come back next time I'm in Kelowna to try some of the food!

Visited Azhadi Vineyards in British Columbia and it is truly a must-visit winery, especially if you are exploring the Okanagan Valley wine region. What makes this place stand out immediately is the atmosphere. The winery has a very distinctive architectural style inspired by Middle Eastern and Persian design, with beautiful details like Persian carpets and warm, curated interiors. It feels more like a designed experience space than a typical winery tasting room. The outdoor terrace is one of the highlights — spacious, beautifully set up, and offering excellent panoramic views over the vineyards and surrounding landscape. It is the kind of place where you naturally want to sit and stay longer. The wines are also very strong, especially the rosé, which was a standout for me. Overall, the wine selection feels thoughtful and well-produced rather than mass-market. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the tasting experience felt relaxed and well-paced. Overall, Azhadi Vineyards combines unique architecture, a strong sense of place, great views, and excellent wine. Easily one of the most memorable wineries in the region and highly recommended if you are in British Columbia.

We had an amazing experience at this winery in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere reflected genuine Persian culture, warmth, and hospitality in such an elegant and welcoming way. The Shiraz wine was absolutely exceptional — rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with deep flavors and a wonderful aroma that showed true craftsmanship and passion behind every bottle. It was one of the best Shiraz wines we have tasted. Another highlight was the beautiful Persian carpets displayed throughout the tasting and exhibition area. They added such a warm, artistic, and authentic touch to the winery and created a unique combination of Persian heritage and modern wine culture. If you are visiting the Okanagan and looking for a winery that offers outstanding wine together with authentic Persian character and elegance, this place is truly a must-visit. 🍷✨

We had the most incredible evening at Azhadi Vineyards — truly a 7-star experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely exceptional, beautifully presented and full of flavor. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and paired perfectly with their amazing selection of drinks. The wine, of course, was outstanding and elevated the entire dining experience. What really sets this place apart is the ambience — breathtaking views, a peaceful setting, and such a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can truly relax and soak in the moment. A special shoutout to our server, Jeff, who was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. His recommendations and warm service made our experience even more memorable. From the service to the scenery, everything was beyond expectations. Highly recommend for a special night out — we’ll definitely be back!

I can’t recommend this place enough—it’s so much more than just a wine tasting. Make sure you book a full tour, because the history, art, and cultural pieces on the second floor are absolutely worth experiencing. It truly adds a whole new depth to your visit. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine, the history, and the space itself. You could tell he genuinely loved what he does, which made the tour even more enjoyable (I just wish I remembered his name!). The art and carpets were especially memorable—something I won’t forget anytime soon. Although the kitchen was unfortunately closed during the only two days we were there, we still had a savory tasting that exceeded expectations. Our server, Julian, was exceptional. He explained everything so clearly and thoughtfully, and his warm, attentive service really stood out. Next time we visit, we’ll definitely be asking for him again. One of the most special touches was the personalized message waiting for us at our table—it made the whole experience feel so welcoming and intentional. Paired with the beautiful view, it created a truly memorable atmosphere. You can tell a lot of care and thought went into designing this place. From the moment you arrive, the culture and attention to detail are evident. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to—especially as they continue developing the space. The only suggestion I’d offer is to keep the kitchen open daily, as it would make the experience even more complete. Otherwise, this place is a gem and absolutely worth visiting.

At the heart of Azhadi is Journey Restaurant, where Executive Chef Alain Léger and his team deliver cuisine as refined as the architecture. For me, the standout was the kebab from the Josper Grill, flame-kissed, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. The tamarind-glazed lingcod with turmeric and roasted cauliflower carried subtle Persian spice notes, and the evening closed beautifully with crème brûlée. A night of art, architecture, heritage, and cuisine, where "Persia meets the Okanagan".

Such a beautiful and luxurious Winery. Despite the building and landscape being unfinished, it still looked and feel nice. We were a bit hesitant to spend $40 per person on a wine tasting, but I'd say it was worth it. In addition to the 6 wines we tasted (in a beautiful room), we were given a tour of the space (you get to learn about the rugs and art works displaced on the second floor). I highly recommend ordering some of the food, as the wines definitely tasted way better when paired. We ordered the olives and the Warm Mirza Ghasemi. I really love the naan with the dip. Would love to come back to do a dining experience. The highlight of our visit was watching the sunset on the balcony as we sipped our last glass of wine. The view was stunning. This is definitely a must visit during the spring/summer.

Best lamb I have ever tasted. The steak was also quite delicious allegedly. The Middle Eastern atmosphere is conveyed beautifully.
