      • 1) The corners of two rugs were observed to be rolled up, posing a potential tripping hazard.The operator promptly removed the rugs from the facility.2) A mop bucket with cleaning chemicals was accessible to children.The operator promptly removed the mop bucket. Please store the mop bucket in the designated utility room.

      • Chlorine test strips were observed to be expired.Please obtain chlorine test strips within their expiry date to verify the correct concentration of the chlorine sanitizer solution.

      • The operators were using the mop sink to fill buckets with water to clean toys.The operator was instructed to utilize the kitchen sink for toy cleaning. Please use the designated toy washing sink in the kitchen of the school to clean and disinfect toys to prevent cross-contamination.

      • The covers from the foam cushion and mattress were observed to be soiled with stains, dust, and food debris.The operator removed the foam cushions and mattress from the facility for laundering. Please launder soft material items weekly.

      • When reviewing the toy cleaning procedure, toys were cleaned with soap and water; however, the crucial disinfecting step was missed.The operator was educated on the critical role of the final disinfecting step in ensuring proper toy hygiene. Please make enough chlorine sanitizer solution in the last basin with the concentration measuring at 100 ppm to submerge (2 minutes) and disinfect toys. Allow all toys to air dry after disinfecting.
