      • Personal items (bag) were stored on top of a bag of flour. Ensure personal items are stored separately from food ingredients.
    • 09. Are chemicals stored and handled in a safe manner?
      • Chemicals were stored in a shelf next to food ingredients. Operator was prompted and he removed the food items. Ensure all food items are stored away from chemicals to prevent contamination.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Backdoor weatherstripping has a gap. Please replace to prevent pest infestation.

    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • The back hand sink water was turned off at the beginning of the inspection. Operator was told not to shut off water to any of the sinks. All sinks are to be adequately supplied with hot/cold running water at all times.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • There is a large gap underneath the back door. PLease install weatherstripping to prevent pest entry.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Some raw wood edges are present on the shelving units in the back area by the dishwashing sinks.
