- 1. All the surfaces in the kitchen were covered in abundance of food storage, kitchen related items and non-kitchen related items. The surfaces need to be kept free and clear for easy sanitation/cleaning and for food prep.Reduce storage items and keep surfaces easy to clean. 2. An overabundance of food storage. Storage in the kitchen beyond capacity and food items being store in baby room one shelves, floor and diaper stand (baby room was not in use that day but does get used)Such an abundance of food indicates it is not being used up in quick enough rotation. Reduce food items to what is needed within 2wk span so that the childcare spaces can be used as intended.
