- 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
- Disposable cups were being used to scoop ice. The inspector informed the operator that a proper scoop with a handle must be used so that the portion of the scoop that is regularly touched does not touch the ice. A metal scoop was available on site and was used instead. Please ensure that the scoop with a handle is used and washed/replaced at least every 4 hours.
