      • There was no soap dispenser at the new handwash sink.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • There was a raw, unfinished wood shelf in the kitchen.-seal or remove the shelf. All surfaces must be smooth, durable, non-absorbent and easily washable.
    • 25. Is food being protected from contamination during transportation?
      • Food was being transported in the vehicle without any means of temperature control or protected from contamination.-obtain large bins/containers for any foods that need to be transported rather than just a pot or a container of sandwiches. Ensure foods are transported at proper temperatures: hot foods no less than 60C, and cold foods no greater than 4C.

      • There was no sanitizer for the kitchen. One spray bottle of bleach is shared between classroom 1 and the kitchen.Please provide a separate surface/equipment sanitizer in a spray bottle or bucket for the kitchen.

      • There is a missing hand wash sink in the kitchen. The kitchen is currently equipped with a 2 compartment sink and a domestic dishwasher for minimal food preparation. Cooking and heating up of foods will required the additional hand wash sink.Please install a hand wash sink in the kitchen. *** Update January 24 2024***The operator informed the PHI about plans to place a handwash sink beside the fridge.
