    • 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
      • Observation: Some dust build up on top of fridge units. This should be cleaned in order to limit potential physical contamination of food items.
      • Corrective Action: Fridge surfaces to be cleaned in order to limit potential physical contamination of food items.
    • 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
      • Observation: Seal for fridge unit in basement area is damaged and peeling off. This may cause difficulty in maintaining temperatures in the future if not addressed. Operator indicated that fridge is not being used for kitchen food preparation at the moment. A tub of margarine was stored inside of the fridge at time of inspection.
      • Corrective Action: Repair seal for fridge. Ensure that any food equipment not intended for staff use only is kept in good repair.
