      • Observation: Inadequate facilities provided for hand washing. Handwashing sink was not functioning at time of inspection. Hand washing is an important practice to ensure food is protected from cross contamination from other previously handled foods or contact surfaces.
      • Corrective Action: Operator set up a spigot inside the food mobile as a temporary sink. Repair or replace the handwashing sink and ensure the hand wash station is accessible at all times and used only as a hand wash station whenever food is being prepared. Soap and paper towel in dispensers and hot and cold running water must be provided to facilitate proper hand washing.

      • Observation: Metal bowl stacked directly on top of waffle fries in grill area. Food containers should not be stacked to make direct contact with food, as this may introduce physical, chemical, or biological contaminants to the food items.
      • Corrective Action: Metal bowl was moved from fries. Ensure that food is kept protected from contact with food surfaces that are not routinely cleaned and sanitized.
    • 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
      • Observation: A significant amount of fresh grease was observed to be spilling out from under the grill area. This may attract pests or result in cross-contamination to food contact surfaces.
      • Corrective Action: Ensure that cooking equipment is operating in a manner as to maintain cleanliness of the kitchen. Perform a thorough cleaning of the flooring under the grill area.
