    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • Bleach solution was observed stored in an unsecured under-sink cabinet in the pre-kindergarten room. The bleach was removed by the Director during the inspection. Please ensure all chemicals, including cleaning and sanitizing agents, are stored out of reach of children and that chemical storage cabinets are secured.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • The main first aid kit and mobile first aid kits in the rooms were not fully stocked and did not contain antiseptic swabs. Please ensure that all first aid kits are fully stocked, readily available for use, and that supplies are within their expiry dates. Regular inventory checks should be conducted to ensure kits remain adequately supplied.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • Some pillows in the pre-kindergarten room and a foldable play mat in the pre-toddler room were observed to be dirty and stained. Please ensure that fabric items are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition and cleaned or replaced as needed.
    • 29. Are washrooms / bathing facilities properly constructed, maintained and supplied (Non-Critical)?
      • The toilet tissue dispenser located by the right-hand toilet in the toddler room was broken and did not contain toilet tissue. The dispenser was repaired and restocked by the Director during the inspection. Please ensure washrooms are adequately supplied and maintained at all times.No paper towel was available in the dispenser located in the washroom in the pre-kindergarten room. The dispenser was refilled during the inspection. Please ensure that handwashing sinks are fully stocked with soap and paper towels at all times.

      • The fridge in the toddler room was monitored at 12.6C Please verify proper operation of the fridge and ensure temperatures are maintained at <4C> Outstanding July 22 2025

      • The left hand sink in the pre-toddler room had very low pressure. Please repair.

      • The finish on the counter by the hand sink in the preschool room was wearing. Please ensure the counter is smooth and cleanable.The carpet was not secure in the OSC room and could be a tripping hazard. Please secure from slippage.The fridge in the toddler room was monitored at 12.6C Please verify proper operation of the fridge and ensure temperatures are maintained at <4C

      • There was no hot water available at the hand sink in the left OSC washroom. Water temperature was measured at 14C.

      • Faucets at handwashing sinks are loose in the preschool room bathroom. Please ensure that faucets are properly secured to avoid potential leaks that could damage the surrounding building materials.The left hand sink in the pre-toddler room had very low pressure. Please repair.The right sink faucet in the preschool bathroom was not operational. Repair required.
