      • Written procedures for client care in an event of an accident cut/puncture, and dual-purpose sink use were not available for review. - Please ensure the written procedures for the above are available.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1. The operator indicated that 91% alcohol and a diluted bleach solution is used to disinfect surfaces and non-critical equipment.- Alcohol and bleach are not an acceptable form of disinfection. Please obtain a low-level disinfectant to disinfect non-critical surfaces/equipment.2. The CitrusWirx disinfectant wipes were expired as of 2021.- Discard wipes. Ensure that manufacturer's instructions for storage are always followed.
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • There was a buildup of dust and hair noted on the haircutting and waxing workstation. - Please thoroughly clean the worksurfaces and make sure it is cleaned on a frequent basis.
