      • Several bags of rice were stored directly on the floor. Food must be stored at least 6 inches above the floor to protect it from contamination. Store food on a shelving unit at least 6 inches above the floor. The operator stated more wooden platforms were ordered to store the bags of rice.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • No pest control records were available. Pest control records must be retained onsite and readily available upon the request of a Public Health Inspector. Obtain the most recent pest control records and provide them to the Public Health Inspector.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • ***Outstanding violation - noted on February 4, 2026***There was food debris and spillage in the following areas:In between and underneath the grill and wok equipment.Thoroughly clean the indicated areas.

      • A vinegar solution was being used as a sanitizer for food contact surfaces.Ensure that an approved sanitizer is used to sanitize food contact surfaces and dishes.The operator prepared a 100ppm bleach sanitizing solution.
    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • There was a metal can stored in the bulk rice bin and was used as a scoop.Remove the metal can from the bulk storage bin. Obtain a food grade washable scoop with a proper handle.

      • Staff member completed homestudy course- does not meet the certification requirement.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
