    • 02. Has the operator notified the RHA of the existence of a personal service business, including contact and location information, as well as all personal services currently offered or new personal services that will be offered for facilities and/or special events?
      • A personal services notification had not been submitted to the Regional Health Authority at the time of inspection. - The operator completed a personal services notification during the inspection.
    • 03. Are facility-specific written procedures established to adequately describe safe and sanitary practices?
      • Written procedures were not available at the time of inspection. - Required written procedures for sink decontamination, skin cleansing, and accidental skin cut or puncture were completed by the operator during the inspection.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • A bottle of PREempt RTU and PREempt wipes were noted to be expired in 2022. Reported to not be in use as per operator. - Ensure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for use of disinfectants including expiration date. Operator discarded the expired disinfectant.
    • 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
      • The wax pot was uncovered at the time of inspection. - Ensure the bulk supply of cosmetic products are protected from contamination. The operator covered the wax pot.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this personal services facility (Critical)?
      • An unlabelled bottle containing liquid was noted within the facility and reported to be disinfectant as per operator. - Ensure all containers with chemicals in the facility are labelled with contents. Operator discarded liquid and will label bottle if used in the future.
