      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - the hand-wash sink was obstructed and must be accessible and well supplied at all times (with liquid soap and paper towels, along with hot and cold running water under pressure). This was corrected during the inspection, and staff were advised to ensure to keep the sink empty and accessible at all times - for staff hand-washing only).
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - the posted Food Handling Permit (FHP) was an expired copy dated April 30, 2025, and the operator was advised to ensure the current updated FHP was posted at all times, on the side wall at the front sales counter area, visible to the public.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - the ice cream scoop was being maintained in stagnant water in an insert out at room temperature (the water was discarded and ice cream scoop washed, rinsed, and sanitized). The operator was advised on how to properly store ice cream scoops/utensils, by either using cold water with ice or hot water in a stainless steel tumbler/insert for up to two hours (or to wash and rinse the ice cream scoop after each use in the adjacent 2-compartment sinks). This was corrected during the inspection.
