    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - some of the sections of shelving units and flooring in the dairy cooler were soiled with spilled dairy products, with more consistent monitoring and cleaning required to maintain a sanitary condition. This was corrected at time of inspection.Note: staff advised to monitor the busy customer area produce/fruit section and to wash and sanitize shelving, etc., as often as necessary.

    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • No - there was accumulation of spilled liquid and other material, including some dirt/dust, on the concrete floor under the steel shelves of the dairy cooler storage section (with noticeable accumulation and odour from the customer side upon opening the dairy cooler refrigeration unit doors). The manager stated he would increase the frequency of pressure-wash cleaning of the floor in the dairy cooler storage area.Note: other previously noted required cleaning has been completed.

      • Pest control records were not maintained. Action required:-Please monitor the pest activity. -AHS pest control checklist will be provided.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • -The storage section shelves and floor, where the onions are stored (just after the deliver) had dirt, debris, and dried onions peels. Action required:-Please regularly clean the indicated area.
