- Facility specific written procedures were not established by the facility.Template of written procedures for client care in case of accidental skin cuts and punctures was provided during the inspection.This violation was corrected during the inspection.

- Discussed the re-use period of the Barbicide.It was observed that it was being reused for 2-3 days.Manufacturer's instructions mentioned that Fresh solution to be prepared daily or more often if diluted or soiled.Operator agreed to follow the manufacturer's instrcutions.

- Facility was using single use sharp razors.The sharps container was not observed in the facility.Please note that sharps are considered biohazard and must be discarded in appropriate puncture resistant sharps container.
