    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • Preschool rom: first aid kit in backpack has alcohol wipes that expired September 2025. Ensure all first aid kits are inspected and restocked regularly (such as on a monthly basis).
    • 19. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Critical)?
      • Preschool room and toddler room: observed elevated equipment (slides with a fall height of 30") without proper surfacing in place. Surfacing should extend 6 ft around the slide fall area.Infant room: 18.25" slide requires proper surfacing 6ft around the slide.Alternatively, the 3 slides can be removed.
    • 24. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Non-Critical)?
      • Toddler room: bedding is stored between cots in a manner where one child's blanket is touching another child's cot. Ensure bedding is folded into thin layers so that it is not touching the upper cot, or is stored in cubbies or individual bags.
    • 29. Are washrooms / bathing facilities properly constructed, maintained and supplied (Non-Critical)?
      • Toddler/preschool bathroom: one of the paper towel dispensers is missing paper towel.

    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • Infant and Toddler room:Wall diapering change tables available.Rooms are using floor diapering mat that was stored on floor area.Hooks were installed to hang diapering mat at time of inspection. *Please review diapering procedures as wall diapering is strongly encouraged over floor diapering to ensure consistent sanitary methods. Additional step stools or a different dedicated change table is strongly encouraged in infant and toddler room.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Disinfectant (Bleach) bottles were not labelled in infant and toddler room.Please ensure bleach bottles are labeled with disinfectant information. Strongly recommend to also label bottles for diapering and room use as necessary.Toddler room: Pink rocking horse that cannot be cleaned or disinfected was noted in the room.Please remove from the play room and ensure all toys are able to be cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis or discarded after use (natural items).
