      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION):
      • Premises has an expired food permit decal due to failure to pay the yearly permit fees, which are due in April 2023. Hand delivered outstanding permit fees letter to the owner.
      • Corrective Action(s):
      • Immediately pay the yealy permit fees of $150. Owner provided a cheque (#002445) for the permit fees during the inspection.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Staff bathroom sink and back handwashing sink is missing paper towels. Staff are unable to properly dry their hands after washing them.
      • Corrective Action(s): Immediately place paper towels at the mentioned sinks, and ensure they are keep full at all times. During the inspection, staff place paper towels at the mentioned sinks.

      • Observation: The exhaust canopy and vent had accumulated grease and dust on it. This is a fire hazard and dust could fall into food.
      • Corrective Action(s): Immediately contact a professional company to clean the exhaust canopy of vent. This shall be done on a regular basis.
