Labels on arts and crafts materials are necessary to verify that products are non-toxic, suitable for use by children, and used according to the manufacturer's instructions. Products lacking proper identification cannot be readily assessed for safety or age appropriateness. During the inspection, staff removed the unlabeled items from use.Ensure that all arts and crafts supplies are properly labeled and that products used by children are verified as non-toxic and safe for their intended age group. Where applicable, look for recognized safety markings, such as the Approved Product (AP) Seal from the Art & Creative Materials Institute (ACMI), and maintain products in their original containers whenever possible.
