Record also indicates food debris accumulated under the side counters and tables in the kitchen cooler line and bar area. - Update July 03, 2026: Records for pest monitoring in June 2026 was reviewed on site. An increase in the pest activity noted in the kitchen area.Follow sanitation instructions indicated on the report to enhance continued pest control measures. Keep food premises and environment in a sanitary state daily to eliminate harborage.

      • Covering material on the back exterior door was in disrepair with some sections peeling, exposing the non-porous interior of the covering. Door surfacing material was inadequate for food establishment. Remove the covering material on the back exterior door. Install door a cleanable, non-porous, durable covering on the door.

      • Floor carpet at the back door exit was inadequate. Carpeting was made of porous material and appeared to be worn and unclean with accumulated dirt. Remove floor carpet immediately. Replace with a rubber or plastic floor covering designed for easy removal, cleaning and sanitizing, and made of a non- absorbent material.

      • The area around the grease disposal bin behind the building was covered in grease. Clean this area to remove grease accumulation and prevent pest infestation.

      • Food handler was observed handling ready to eat foods such as bread after handling raw burger patties. Food handler was required to wash their hands, and this was done immediately. Ensure food handlers are frequently washing their hands between tasks. Especially after handling raw meats and before handling ready-to-eat foods.
    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • Iodine sanitizer solution for the glassware dishwasher was measured at 0ppm. Switch to manual sanitizing for glassware. Repair sanitizer issue in dishwasher. Ensure iodine solution of 12.5 mg/l to 25 mg/l is measured before dishwasher is used for sanitizing.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • There was no paper towel at the hand washing sink in the staff washroom. Food handler installed a roll of paper towel during inspection.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Cockroaches at varying life stages were noted in sticky traps in the expo alley, prep line, staff washroom and dishwashing area.Licensed pest control operator has been contracted and is routinely monitoring pest activities. PCO recommended the operator does not remove traps until they return for monitoring. Recommendations - Increase cleaning and disinfection of all affected areas. Ensure food debris and water spills are cleaned off before closure every day.

      • The garbage bin at the kitchen hand sink was not lined with bags. Install bags/lining in all garbage collection bins around the facility.
