      • An alcohol-based hand sanitizer was not observed for workers to wash hands between tasks. Please acquire alcohol-based hand sanitizer to wash hands between tasks.

      • Used single use equipment was noted. These were all discarded during the inspection.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1. The facility was using high level disinfectant (HLD) for 10 days and it was not being tested. Records were not being maintained. The existing HLD was discarded during the inspection. The operator poured fresh HDL in the container and tested the concentration during the inspection. The operator started maintaining testing records.2. Semi-critical equipment was not fully submerged in HDL at the time of inspection.The operator poured more HLD and ensured all equipment were fully submerged in the HLD. The operator also indicated that she would purchase larger containers to ensure all semi-critical equipment is able to fully submerge in HLD.

      • General cleaning and organizing is required in the facility. Please clean the facility and ensure it is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.
    • 30. Is the reprocessing area of a personal service facility that uses reusable equipment properly designed, managed and maintained to ensure the safety of clients?
      • Reprocessing sink was being used for washing staff food dishes. Please ensure that this sink is only being used for reprocessing purposes. The operator cleaned the area and ensured that they would not use this sink for any other purposes.
