- The rinse temperature of the commercial-style dishwasher located in daycare part was not sufficient, and measured as 65C, 66.6C, 67,5C, 69.5C, 67C and 67.5C. The rinse temperature must be at least 71C at the plate level.Dec 9: Final rinse temperature at the commercial dishwasher was 68C after several cycles. Dishes can be washed in commercial dishwasher but sanitation with approved sanitizer (Chlorine) must be completed in the sink. Alternatively, dishes can be washed using the 3 sink method.

- September 18 - Program advised 8 staff are signed up for an approved food safety course. Please provide updated food safety certificates once completed to our office. The Supervisor and Director had Food Safety courses taken over 20 years ago: Corrine Noel, certificate dated December 31, 1990 (compliance with Section 43 of Food Regulation listed, not Section 31 of the current Food Regulation), andLaura Lee MacPhee, Canadian Restaurants and Food Services Association, certificate dated May 28, 1997 (the course is not on the current list of approved courses). Please ensure that at least one person holding an acceptable Food Safety certificate is present on site to supervise food preparation.
