- Update and progress: the cupboards were removed as needed up to the stove area , there was mold, dropping and debris noted on the floor and in the open cavity area.- Discussed with the owners son, that immediate concern was to clean up the debris as the staff still access the area for the fridge etc: wet the debris as to avoid any dust spreading/inhaling, wipe up the droppings and debris off the floor then follow up with cleaning floor with a bleach solution. • Please remove the water damaged drywall/materials at min up to above the backsplash area • Use a shop vac or equivalent to clean within the cavity( not the daycare vacuum).• Also remove any damaged drywall/materials along the stove wall. • Remove the stove / oven as it does not serve a purpose within the space. • It is recommended to leave the area open but sealed off for easier pest control access within the walls until infestation is under control ** Examine the exterior of the building and fix any route of entry that vermin may be using to access the space. • Replace with new material for restoration of the space. • A written plan approval is required if you would like to renovate the space as a food handling kitchen
