- No sterility assurance documentation for the use of lancets and the cartridge needles for microneedling.Sterility assurance documentation is required for equipment with a sterile claim (needle cartridges, lancets) Documentation must include the following: - The name of the client- The contact information of the client - The date of the service - Description of the service - The name of the staff member conducting the service Ensure the sterility assurance documentation is completed for every service and every client. These records must be maintained for at least 2 years.

- Facility is providing plant-based exosomes - ASCE. Health Canada communicated to EPH that no exosome products, including plant based, are approved for use after microneedling services. Products represented for administration via microneedling are not considered cosmetics and require a DIN or NPN.
