- Facility specific procedures for client care and de-contamination of dual-purpose sink and skin cleansing were not completed.Procedures were completed onsite using AHS templates for procedures.

- 1-The disinfectant for disinfecting the combs was noted without DIN. Obtain a disinfectant with DIN (Drug Identification Number) which indicates the disinfectant is approved by Health Canada
- 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
- No surface disinfectant was noted onsite. Alcohol is being used for environmental surfaces disinfection. A Health Canada approve disinfectant should have DIN, Disinfectant claim on the container. Alcohol is an antiseptic not a disinfectant unless it is stated on the container. that it is a disinfectant and have DIN.Obtain a minimum a low-level disinfectant to disinfect the environmental surfaces and disinfection of reprocessing sink.
