Test strips must be on site for staff to check the concentration of sanitizer in the sanitizing sink, etc. At the time of inspection the sanitizer dispenser at the sinks was empty, therefore no sanitizer in the water in the sink. Correct right away.

Replace the sanitizer supply, and instruct staff how to monitor the sanitizer concentration in the sanitizing sink and how to change the sanitizer bottle.

      • Observation(s): • A monitoring probe thermometer could not be found at the time of inspection. Provide a probe thermometer so that staff can monitor food temperatures in coolers etc. daily. Correct by July 7, 2020. • Quats sanitizer test strips were on site.

      • Observation(s): • The quats sanitizer (e.g. Steramine Tablets) concentration in the sanitizing sink was 150 ppm. The concentration of the sanitizer must be maintained between 200 ppm and 400 ppm. Use the sanitizer test strips to test the concentration of the sanitizer. Correct procedure right away. • Maintain a Spray bottle, or a wipe cloth pail, with a sanitizer solution for sanitizing kitchen surfaces throughout the day.

    Busy Place, I walked in a complete newbie, I've had bubble tea before but this menu was very large with a lot of options to customize ones drink. The counter staff, there was only one, given how busy this place was, I was surprised, offered me samples of the different pearls and was very helpful with recommendations. I was looking for something simple without a lot of milk. This place makes waffles as well, I didn't actually order any but saw some come up for pickup and it looked really good. However, given the volume of customers, there was no way this person could keep up to the orders of both waffles and teas. She was doing her very best and managed to maintain composure the whole time, she got on the phone to call for backup and it took this next person a while to arrive. I did have to wait a substantial amount of time for my Black Milk Tea, Light Ice, with Black Peals but again the place was very understaffed. Once I was served, my drink came out as a regular size, I had ordered a large, keep in mind I've never been here before so that's something that may be missed by the customer. The tag on my cup read large but the display cups at the front suggested otherwise. I mentioned it and they were more than happy to switch it out. Not a big deal, just check your orders at all restaurants for accuracy. I would return in future as there was a bunch of drinks on the menu I'd like to try!

    Such a nice spot. The place is really beautiful inside, super cozy and perfect to hang out. My friend got the Mango Smoothie bubble tea and I had the Yakult White Tea, both were super refreshing and not overly sweet. We also ordered a waffle and a croffle, both really good but the croffle was honestly amazing. Definitely a great place to do some home office or just chill and grab a bite.

    Great place! Lovely staff and yummy drinks!! I’ve only gotten bubble tea once or twice so I wasn’t quite sure what to order and the girl with pink hair at the front was just so helpful. She offered the taro milk tea with black pearls and explained what the black pearls were when I asked. Super friendly and was very enthusiastic to answer all my questions! The drink on top of that was very yummy, she offered a great choice. For any first time customers this is a great choice because the staff was just so amazing helping me find a drink that was good for me. Would 100% come back!!

    Went here today with a few friends for the first time and honestly… what a great experience! I had no idea what to order, but the front desk lady was SO sweet and super helpful with recommendations. She suggested the Mango Deluxe and wow 10/10, absolutely delicious. Yes, it might take a little bit for food and drinks to come out, but nothing crazy at all. And honestly, I’d much rather wait a few extra minutes for something made properly than get something rushed. Big kudos to the team! Great vibes, great service, great drinks. I’ll definitely be back 🙌✨

    One of my new favorite go-to spots!! As of writing this I have tried the Extreme Mango Smoothie, Taro Milk Tea, Honeydew Milk Tea and Mango Milk Tea as well as the Strawberries and Cream and Runway to Heaven waffles. The Drinks: The best boba I've had since moving to Kamloops! All of the flavors I've tried so far have been sooo good with extreme mango probably being my favorite (It's close though!) I will say in my opinion the pearls aren't the best, they're a bit too.. gummy? I've tried the black pearls and mango jellies and think their jellies are much better. Haven't tried the other toppings yet. 4.5/5 The Waffles: They're big, they're filling and OH MY GOD are they delicious. Perfect bubble waffles with just the right amount of topping I felt like I was in heaven eating them and wanted to fall into a food coma afterwards. 5/5 The Atmosphere: It's a lovely cozy little cafe with comfy seating and even some board games if you're into that. It definitely feels very inviting, the staff was super friendly and helpful and it makes you feel like you're welcome to stay awhile. It's the kind of inviting atmosphere that is missing from so many modern cafes that just want to rush you out of the door. IDK how many people appreciate that nowadays, but I sure do. 5/5

    Bubble Time Tea & Waffles is one of our favorite spots in Kamloops! We tried the Brown Sugar Earl Grey Milk Tea and the Original Bubble Waffle, and both were excellent. The milk tea was rich and refreshing, and the waffle was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside. A special thanks to Rahul Madvilakam for the friendly and welcoming service. he was courteous, attentive, and made our visit even more enjoyable. Great food, great drinks, and excellent customer service. We'll definitely be back!
