    • F1.2 Are proper temperature controls maintained to ensure safe storage and display of foods?
      • Observation(s): White standing fridge measured at a temperature of 42°F during inspection. Operator indicated that this fridge measures below 4°C in the morning, but does not always maintain appropriate temperature throughout the day, when the door is being opened and closed. The freezer compartment is maintaining an appropriate temperature of -18°C. • Move ice to top shelf to lower temperature in entire fridge unit. Monitor temperature closely and arrange for servicing or replacement if necessary. Display cooler measured at 5.8°C during inspection. Operator noted it measures below 4°C on the gauge at time of opening. Ice buildup noted on condenser unit, which could be inhibiting appropriate airflow. • Defrost the display cooler at earliest convenience and monitor temperature to ensure it is able to maintain appropriate temperature of 4°C or colder.
    • F1.7 Are foods protected from contamination?
      • Observation(s): Ice scoop stored in ice. There is a hook in the well to hold ice scoop when not in use. Corrected during inspection. • To protect ice from contamination, use the hook in the well to store the ice scoop when not in use.
      • F1.7B Ready-to-eat foods must be stored in a manner that prevents cross contamination.
    • F2.1 Does the facility have proper monitoring supplies?
      • Observation(s): Chlorine test strips expired. • Purchase new test strips with the next food order for the facility.
      • F2.1A Sanitizer test strips must be available for each chemical sanitizer used at the premises.
