      • The cleaning brushes for tools were in poor condition. Discard brushes. Obtain new ones.

      • 1. Hair styling side is not disinfecting chairs in between clients. Ensure surfaces are disinfected with a low level disinfectant between clients. 2. Make up brushes are disinfected with alcohol before cleansing. Ensure brushes are washed first or a brush cleaner with a disinfectant is used before use of alcohol.

      • Several products in the facial/waxing room were not labelled. Ensure all products are labelled with their contents and the ingredients are easily accessible.

Please ensure to use a test strip to verify the used disinfectant is maintaining the minimum effective concentration. Records must be kept for the date of tests (verification of minimum effective concentration), test strip results (pass/fail), dates when disinfectant was changed (for reuse period), and initials of the personal services worker who performed the activity.
