- Food items were observed to be stored directly on the floor in both walk-in coolers. Please ensure that all food is stored off the floor on shelving or racks to protect it from contamination. Storing food on the floor increases the risk of contamination from dirt, moisture, spills, and pest activity and can compromise food safety. Ensure all food is stored at least 15 cm (6 inches) off the floor and maintain adequate shelving space to allow for proper, sanitary storage.

- The facility’s quaternary ammonium (Quat) sanitizer test strips were expired as of October 2025.Please replace expired test strips with approved, unexpired Quat test strips and ensure they are readily available for use. Using valid test strips is necessary to accurately verify sanitizer concentration, as expired strips may provide unreliable readings, which can result in ineffective sanitization of food contact surfaces.

- A metal wire strainer was found to be damaged, with broken components and loose metal wires. Please ensure that all equipment is maintained in good repair and is free from loose or damaged parts. Damaged equipment can pose a physical contamination hazard, as loose metal wires may detach and contaminate food, creating a risk of injury to consumers. Discard the damaged strainer and replace with one in good condition.

- Food was stored directly on the floor in the produce walk-in cooler. All food was elevated off of the floor at the time of the inspection, thank you. Please ensure all food is stored at least 6 inches off of the floor to protect from contamination and to allow for proper cleaning.
- 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
- The fan in the produce walk-in cooler has a build-up of dust around it. Please clean and add to a regular cleaning schedule.
- 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
- The caulking where the wall meets the dishwasher and stainless-steel surface before the dishwasher was peeling and had mold/mildew growth. Please clean and or replace any damaged caulking.

- Large bulk containers of opened olives and maraschino cherries were observed under the three-compartment sink in the bar with no temperature control. The containers indicate to refrigerate the product after opening. Discard opened and improperly stored items and store opened items in a cooler. As well food is not to be stored under sinks to reduce the risk of cross-contamination.

- The Quat based test strips had expired in October of 2023. Please replace the expired test strips with new Quat test strips to be able to accurately test and verify the concentration of the sanitizer solutions.

- Black duct tape was observed on the lid to the ice cream freezer. Duct tape is not considered a cleanable surface and can harbor dirt and bacteria. Please remove the duct tape and repair/replace the lid if required.
