      • Sanitizer bottles showed 0ppm sanitizer when tested. When tested directly from the dispenser the sanitizer solution was tested correctly. Please dump the existing sanitizer bottles and refill them from the dispenser.Please ensure sanitizer solutions are tested daily to ensure the correct concentration.

      • Cleaning is required in the following areas: 1. There is grime and accumulation of food debris behind the grill. All areas in a food facility must be maintained in a clean and sanitary manner. Ensure hard to reach areas are regularly cleaned and sanitized. Develop a cleaning schedule to address these areas.

    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Plastic container used as a scoop for the rice bulk supply.Replace the plastic container with a scoop that has a handle and store scoops in a separate area or with the handle upright to avoid contamination of the food. The operator removed the plastic container from the bulk container at the time of the inspection.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • The hand sink in near the grill is blocked by an old grill. The hand sink must be easily accessible at all times to perform hand hygiene. Refrain from placing any articles in front or near the hand sink.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • The food permit was posted in the kitchen and is not easily seen by the public. The food permit must be posted in a conspicuous place for the public to see. The operator posted the food permit by the entrance at the time of the inspection.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • The chest freezer near the grill had several damaged sections inside and outside with exposed foam insulation, which would make these surfaces difficult to clean. Replace or repair the damaged sections of chest freezer.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • Cleaning is required in the following areas: 1. There is grime and accumulation of food debris behind the grill. 2. The steel table on the right side of the grill is soiled with grease and grime. All areas in a food facility must be maintained in a clean and sanitary manner. Ensure hard to reach areas are regularly cleaned and sanitized. Develop a cleaning schedule to address these areas.

      • The ice scoop was stored directly in the ice well at the bar. Please store the ice scoop outside of the ice well and in a designated container to limit food handler contact with the ice.
    • 09. Are chemicals stored and handled in a safe manner?
      • Sanitizer bottles were unlabeled. Please ensure all chemical bottles are labeled such that the contents can be identified and properly used.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • The facility is using the Smartpower sink and surface sanitizer but did not have the test strips available on-site. Please obtain the appropriate test strips to be able to test and verify the concentration of the sanitizer solutions.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • 1) The ice machine was leaking and water was pooling under and around the machine. Please have the leak repaired. 2) Water was leaking from the sprayer sink in the dish pit. A bucket had been placed below to prevent pooling of the water. Please repair the plumbing such that there are no leaks.
