      • Garbage bin with faulty foot pedal was observed in toddler 1 classroom. The bin's lid was being touched after handwashing, which is unhygienic.-Please repair or replace the garbage bin with one equipped with functional foot pedal.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • An elevated play structure with a height of 25 inches was observed with inadequate fall zone protection.-Please ensure a minimum of 6 feet of non-encroachment fall zone area is provided around the identified play structure.

      • Reusable art supplies that were to be washed were stored in the handwash sink in the toddler room. Staff at facility removed supplies during inspection and will place any items that require washing in a plastic storage bin to ensure handwash sink remains accessible at all times
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • A wooden shelf in the 3/4 room and a wooden shelf in the library are not secured to the wall. Please ensure these items are secured to the wall
