      • Observation: Repeat violation: Hand sink that has been relocated to more central location still not easily accessible from last routine inspection. Operator states will have the two-compartment sink changed to a single compartment to allow space for the hand sink to be easily accessible.
      • Corrective Action(s): Submit floor plan to reflect proposed changes for approval. Changes to previous approved plans without approval can be subject to premise closure if unapproved. Ensure hand sinks are free from obstruction and accesible to allow for hand washing to occur.

      • Observation: Alteration of hand washing station location. Sink has been relocated to a more central area. New central space is partially obstructed from access with an addition of a two-compartment sink also that is being utilized for food preparation.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure hand washing station is free from obstruction to allow for hand washing to occur.

    • 401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): One hand wash station by prep table in back was not supplied with paper towel roll. Operator placed paper towel roll by hand washing station during inspection.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure all hand wash stations are supplied with hot/cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels at all times.

    • 209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
      • Observation: 1. Container of marinated fish and a lentil curry was left uncovered in the walk-in cooler.
      • 2. Small inserts containers of food was being stored on top of other ingredients inside the prep-coolers. Operator corrected this during inspection.
      • 3. Milk jug container was being repurposed to store cooking oil.
      • Corrective Action(s): 1. Ensure all food ingredients are covered to be protected from contamination.
      • 2. Do not store food inserts on top of food where the bottom of the container can contaminate the food ingredient.
      • 3. Do not repurpose containers that cannot be adequately cleaned and sanitized. Use only food grade containers that are durable, non-porous, and easy to clean.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Few spray bottles were not properly labeled with the chemical agent being stored inside. Operator re-labelled the spray bottles during insepction.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure all spray bottles that are utilized for cleaning and sanitation are labeled accordingly to prevent potential misuse.
