      • The stairs leading to the unfinished basement and the floor in the basement food storage area were observed to be unclean at the time of the inspection. Please wash and clean these areas and organize the storage space to maintain a sanitary environment and allow for effective cleaning and monitoring.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • Water was observed on the floor beneath and around the ice machine at the time of the inspection. Staff advised that the water was believed to be the result of a leak or a fitting requiring tightening. Please investigate and correct the issue to prevent further water accumulation. Standing water can create a slip hazard and may contribute to unsanitary conditions if not addressed.

    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • The dishwasher was not observed to be dispensing sanitizer during the inspection. I verified that the sanitizer solution had not lost its active ingredient; however, staff were unable to obtain a sanitizer residual reading, even after using the sanitizer prime function.Please ensure that the dishwasher is verified daily to confirm it is dispensing sanitizer as intended. In addition, I recommend that a troubleshooting guide or written procedure be readily available to staff to assist in identifying and correcting common issues when the dishwasher is not functioning as expected. This will help ensure that dishes are being properly sanitized and that corrective actions can be taken promptly when problems arise.

      • Test strips are required for verifying the sanitizer strength. CORRECTED It was a bit weak at the time of inspection <50 ppm. OUTSTANDING APPEARS TO BE THE INCORRECT TUBING

      • Test strips are required for verifying the sanitizer strength. It was a bit weak at the time of inspection ~50 ppm. A leak was observed which should be repaired.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Please install a paper towel dispenser and soap dispenser at the three-compartment sink.

      • Shelving surface must be non-impervious to moisture.Dishwasher is making a very loud noise. This needs to be repaired.Probe thermometer needs to be working properly. Please replace battery.Recommend boot mat or something similar to store the chemicals on.Please repair the dripping faucet.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • As discussed, please vacuum/sweep the basement floor and stairs leading into the basement. The freezers also need to be washed and sanitized on the outside.
