    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Staples used on all bulletin boards in classrooms with children 0 - 5 years old. **Please put tape over all staples in all the rooms.**2. Coffee beans used for sensory play in DISCOVERY DENS room. **Remove and find an alternative as coffee beans can be toxic when ingested.**

      • 1. In the BABY BEARS 1 and WONDERLAND rooms the diaper change pad and area were dirty with debris. The change pad had plastic bags over it. This was also noticed in the WONDERLAND room.**Please remove the plastic bags for all change pads. Clean the diapering area.**2. The disinfectant in DISCOVERY DEN MONTESSORI room was measuring 50 ppm.**Please replace the solution and ensure the concentration of the bleach solution is at 100 ppm.**

      • 1. In the MASTERMIND room two sand play tables had leaves and paper cups in the sand. This made the bin very moist. Mould was noticed on the leaves and paper cups. **Please discard the sand, leaves, and paper cups. Ensure leaves are not stored inside the sand. The sand must be kept dry to prevent mould/bacteria growth.**2. In WONDERLAND room the toy foam blocks had many bite marks and grooves. - Removed by Arshdeep.3. A wooden toy was broken and had sharp edges.- Removed by Arshdeep.**Ensure toys are cleanable and not damaged in all rooms.**
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • 1. Pillows for classroom use were stored inside a crib in BABY BEARS 1 room. **Please remove the pillows from inside the crib.**2. A staff's jacket was stored on top of the napping cot in the DISCOVERY DENS room. **Ensure the staff stores jackets on hooks provided in the room and not on top of napping mats/cots.**

      • - The Primo Bingo Dabber was in use. The label indicates that it should be kept out of reach of children.*The staff has disposed of the item.**Please ensure that you review the manufacturer's instructions for use before purchasing any toys or materials intended for children.

      • - The Multi-tier Toy Storage Unit in Room 1 had accumulated some dust.*Please clean it thoroughly and ensure it is maintained in a clean condition.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • - The water bottles in Room 2 were not labeled. *Please ensure that all children's personal items are properly labeled.
