      • Chlorine test strips were expired.Please acquire test strips within their expiry date to accurately verify the concentration of surface sanitizer.

      • The women's washroom door located in the dining room was not equipped with a self-closing door mechanism.Please install self-closing mechanism on the washroom door.

      • Manual thermometers were missing from all standing coolers in the facility.Please install manual thermometers into the coolers.

      • Chlorine test strips were expired.Please acquire test strips within their expiry date to accurately verify the concentration of surface sanitizer and low-temperature mechanical dishwashers.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • The handwash sink located at the front of house had no hot water supplied to the faucet head.Please repair the handwash sink to ensure it is supplying both hot and cold water for proper hand hygiene practices.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • 1) A gap was observed alongside the bottom of the exterior door located at the back of the kitchen.Please repair the indicated area to ensure the gap is filled to prevent the entry of pests.2) Pest activity (mouse droppings) was observed along the walls throughout the utility room. A hole was observed in the corners of the room.Please ensure that the mouse droppings are carefully cleaned by spraying them with a 1:9 chlorine solution and allowing it to sit for five minutes. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and a mask, to minimize exposure to potential contaminants. Locate any holes and gaps and fill them with steel wool, then seal them to prevent the entry of unwanted pests. Please monitor the pest activity and adjust the frequency of treatment accordingly.

      • The men's and women's washroom doors located in the dining room were not equipped with self-closing doors.Please install self-closing mechanisms on the washroom doors.

      • The ambient temperature of the display cooler in the back was measured using a probe thermometer and read 10C.Please repair or adjust the display cooler ensuring it can maintain temperature of 4C or below.
