      • - The soap dispenser is located at the far end, and children are unable to access it independently, limiting proper hand hygiene practices (note: this does not apply to the Senior Infant room, as children in this group are developmentally too young to perform independent hand hygiene).*The soap dispenser should be relocated to an accessible location where children can independently perform hand hygiene (where developmentally appropriate).**As an immediate measure, staff have placed a temporary hand soap dispenser in a more accessible location to facilitate proper handwashing.

      • 1) Diapers and rash cream were stored in plastic bags and kept on the counter: Store personal items (e.g., diapers and rash cream) in cleanable, designated containers.2) Diapering mat was stored on the floor adjacent to the toilet: Provide a hanger or appropriate storage for the mat to ensure it is not stored on the floor next to the toilet.

      • The bottom part of the classroom heaters is open, allowing children to access the exposed metal fins. Please ensure that the metal fins are enclosed from the bottom or that a physical barrier is in place to prevent access.

      • Some items, such as a CPR valve, single use- antibiotic ointment, emergency blankets, are missing from the first aid kits. Please ensure that all the first aid kits are equipped with necessary supplies.

      • Th temperature of the hot water at hand sinks was measured at >54C. Please ensure the hot water temperature remains below 54C (recommended maximum is 49C).

      • The sink was leaking in room 6. Please repair.

      • Dirty toy bins were not available in the classrooms. Please ensure that the dirty toy bins are available in the classrooms to separate dirty toys.
