    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • Bingo markers observed that don't state "non-toxic" on them. The bingo markers were removed. Ensure bingo markers state "non-toxic" on them or have the AP (Approved Product) logo on the label.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • Safety belt required for diapering mat in toddler room. The surface and underside of the diapering mat require cleaning.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • Alcohol wipes in the Chickadee Room first aid kit expired in 2023. Other first aid kits were not checked during the inspection. Ensure all first aid kits are checked monthly and restocked as needed.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • Children's personal belongings (hair brushes) should be stored in their cubbies or separately such as in labelled ziploc bags.

      • - In the Chickadee room, six sleeping mats are in a state of disrepair. Observed tearing at the edges, seams and flat surfaces of the mats. Please replace the mats to ensure proper cleaning and disinfection of the mat surfaces. Dec 6 - Confirmation that sleeping mats have been ordered.
