    • 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
      • Plan is missing engineering and structural information such as drain dimensions and connections, pump information and flow rates. Maximum flow rates over drain covers cannot be determined without this information. Determine flow rates to size covers. Confirm piping/ connections (as-built drawings or field tests). A temporary management plan is in place to address unknowns, which includes: decreased suction over the main drains; an ultrasonic flow meter is ordered; main drain covers are monitored daily for breaks or structural issues.

    • 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
      • The EID pool does not have a complete anti-entrapment plan. Plan is missing engineering and structural information such as drain dimensions and connections, pump information and flow rates. Maximum flow rates over drain covers cannot be calculated and determined without this information. Facility has contacted the engineering firm that assumed the company who drew the plans and is searching through archived folders. An inspection is scheduled to review plans with an AHS aquatics specialist during the third week of December
