      • During the inspection, it was observed that semi-critical tools were being placed near the dual-purpose sink to let them dry after cleaning and disinfection. This practice may increase the risk of cross-contamination during reprocessing activities and handwashing procedures.The issue was discussed with the operator during the inspection. The instruments were relocated to a designated, labeled container to protect them from potential contamination during drying. Make sure that all cleaned and disinfected tools are dried and stored in a clean, dedicated area separate from handwashing and sink activities to prevent cross-contamination.
    • 29. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained to allow for the safe and sanitary provision of personal services (Non-Critical)?
      • The client service table was observed to be damaged with visible scratches and deterioration along the edges.Repair the damaged areas to restore a smooth, non-porous and easily cleanable surface or replace the table if repairs are not feasible. Ensure the finished surface can be effectively cleaned and disinfected after each use.
