      • Procedures were not completed. AHS template of facility specific procedures was provided for client care and skin cleansing onsite.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1-The high-level disinfectant was not tested everyday prior to re-use.2-Daily test record of high level disinfectant was not available.3-PreEmpt wipes were being used after passed their expiry date. Ensure disinfectants have valid expiry date.
    • 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
      • Tinting products were not labelled with expiry dates according to manufacture instructions for use.
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • Pillow surface was porous and in disrepair. Cover the pillow with non-porous pillow cover which is easy to clean and in good repair.

      • Staff onsite were unaware of where the manufacturer's manual for the Red Light Therapy machine was located. Instructions for use must be available for staff reference.
    • 29. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained to allow for the safe and sanitary provision of personal services (Non-Critical)?
      • Faucet of the hand washing sink located in the bathroom was in disrepair. Hot water supply was not available during inspection onsite. Cold water supply was available at the sink.Spoke to the owner over the phone and advised to fix the faucet and restore the hot water supply. Ensured the hand sink is supplied with hot/cold water, soap, and paper towels all the time.There is another sink in the staff room available for employees for hand washing.
