Inspection summary
Farm Kitchen Market has been inspected 5 times by Interior Health Authority since October 13, 2023. The most recent inspection, on April 10, 2026, recorded 1 infraction.
2 of 5 inspections on record found no infractions at all. In the past 12 months there was 1 inspection with 1 infraction recorded. The higher-risk findings here relate to: Protecting food from contamination and Food temperature control.
Recent inspections have recorded fewer infractions than earlier ones, so the record is improving.
What these findings mean
Health authorities word their violations differently, so we group them by what they mean for food safety. Higher-risk findings are the ones inspectors treat as critical, because they can directly make someone sick.
Protecting food from contaminationHigher risk
This covers how food is stored, prepared and displayed: raw meat kept away from ready-to-eat food, food covered and stored off the floor, and nothing dripping or splashing into it. Cross-contamination from raw to cooked food is a direct route for salmonella and E. coli.
Recorded 3 times across 3 separate inspections, most recently on April 10, 2026. For example:
5 Are the premises and equipment properly maintained and operated in a sanitary manner (i.e. ongoing maintenance)?
Food temperature controlHigher risk
Bacteria multiply fastest between about 4 °C and 60 °C (40 °F to 140 °F). Inspectors check that cold food stays cold, hot food stays hot, cooked food is cooled quickly, and that staff have accurate thermometers. Temperature problems are one of the most common causes of food poisoning, so these are treated as critical findings.
Recorded once on October 13, 2023. For example:
2 Are proper temperature controls maintained to ensure safe storage and display of foods?
Other findingsLower risk
Findings that do not fit the categories above, such as follow-ups that confirm an earlier violation was corrected, or requirements specific to this type of facility.
Recorded once on October 13, 2023. For example:
1 Does the facility have proper monitoring supplies?

Very disappointing experience. We only stopped here because we arrived late at our campsite at Fairmont Resort and both restaurants there were already closed. The atmosphere was cramped with a strange seating arrangement, but we didn’t want to judge a book by its cover and still had high hopes. Unfortunately, the food did not feel “farm to kitchen” at all. The market was mostly packaged branded noodles, coffee, hot sauces and other miscellaneous products rather than fresh or homemade items. I ordered the pear and goat cheese salad with chicken and stopped eating after one bite because the chicken tasted off. My husband ordered the ribs, which tasted previously frozen/prepared, and the heavily seasoned fries didn’t taste homemade either. The homemade lemonade tasted mostly like water with a splash of lemon. Our bill was around $80 and we barely touched our meals. The young man serving us was very kind, but the older waitress came across quite abrupt and aggressive. Overall, the experience and quality did not match the “Farm Kitchen Market” name or our expectations.

What a great restaurant 👌 The food is fresh and very yummy. The varieties are amazing with lots of extremely tasty vegetarian dishes. The owners are friendly and hard working. It is a very nice restaurant and is worth the visit- you will not regret it. And thier wood fire backed pizza and breads are superb 👌

A Tier Service and hospitality. I went on July 26th and the food is as fresh and delicious as advertised. I got the sandwich with the salad. The pizzas are absolutely special due to the fact that their sauce is fresh made with local grown tomatoes and fresh cheese. Definetly a pizza you must have when visiting the area. I highly recommend stopping by even if it's inconvenient to enjoy the selection. The sandwich combo was 18.99. The pizza was 25.99 for a shareable pizza.

The place is clean and tidy! The staff are friendly and even offered to take photos for us, which made us really happy! There are many food choices and the portions are big. Their salad looks beautiful and tastes great! 🥗✨

Unfortunately, our experience at Farm Kitchen Market was extremely disappointing\. We ordered BLTs, and the buns were microwaved and seemed undercooked\. The fries were heavily over\-seasoned with spices that, in my personal opinion, did not belong on fries\. They were also overcooked and burnt, and there was a hair found in the fries\. The bacon tasted like it came from a pre\-cooked package rather than being freshly made\. It was greasy, oily, and not enjoyable to eat\. The drinks were around $5 each, so our family decided to stick with water\. The water was served in very small jars that were barely bigger than a shot glass\. From what I could see, the water appeared to come straight from the tap, and when ice was added, it was handled with bare hands\. The cleanliness was another major issue\. The ketchup bottles were clearly not being properly maintained, with ketchup all over the outside\. The tables were dirty, and some of the forks were not clean either\. The service was extremely unprofessional\. Our server/host was on his phone frequently, and when we asked for water, it took **over 30 minutes** to receive it\. There was only about one other table occupied while we were there, so considering how quiet it was and how many tables were available, the service should have been much better\. I understand that there was only one person working, the server position, but spending a significant amount of time on the phone while customers are waiting is not acceptable\. The atmosphere also felt lacking and did not make the experience any more enjoyable\. Another thing that was quite disappointing in our experience was the dessert\. When it came out, it was clearly visible that it had been kept in a freezer and then re\-warmed\. My husband happened to go to the bathroom at the time and could see it being taken out of a package from the freezer\. To this moment, we still do not know whether it was a packaged store\-bought item or a freshly made dessert as it was presented on the menu\. Another disappointing issue was the condition of the bathroom\. My husband said it was very poorly maintained\. There was no paper towel, the water barely ran, and there was not enough soap for even two people to properly wash their hands\. Overall, between the food quality, cleanliness, service, and wait times, our family was very disappointed\. **Definitely not the experience we expected, and fortunately we would not return\.
