      • A scoop without a handle was observed in the bulk rice storage container. Ensure scoops with handles are used to help prevent potential contamination. The operator removed the indicated scoop during the inspection.

      • The cleaning cloth sanitizer solution in the front area tested at 50 ppm quat. Please make sure to regularly change the solution to maintain a concentration of at least 200 ppm quat.
    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • The dishwasher tested 0ppm sanitizer after multiple runs. Staff are to follow the 3-compartment sink method until dishwasher is repaired.

      • Staff are not regularly testing the sanitizer concentration of the dishwasher. The dishwasher should be tested daily to ensure it is sanitizing properly.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • The soap dispenser at the front hand sink is not currently mounted on the wall, so staff cannot use it until it is reinstalled. Alternatively, the facility could use a free-standing soap dispenser until the wall-mounted one is fixed.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • The facility is cluttered and requires cleaning in hard-to-reach areas such as shelves, underneath tables, walls, inside cupboards, and behind coolers. The space should be kept clean and organized.
