    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • The glass sliding door of the front display hot holding unit was in disrepair. Tape was used to secure the sliding door in place. The store manager informed the PHI that a repair work order has been created to fix the sliding door. Remove all the tapes and ensure all food contact surfaces are smooth, impervious to moisture and easy to clean.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • The door of the walk-in freezer was dirty. Grime accumulation was observed on the door handle of the freezer. Clean the door of the walk-in freezer. All equipment and surfaces must be kept sanitary at all times.
